Sell on Facebook

Share items, categories and carts with links that show the photo and price, post to Facebook with a ready caption, add chat buttons, and keep a Facebook / Instagram catalog up to date.

On this page

Most shops in Myanmar sell through Facebook posts and Messenger. LiteShop helps without any Meta account setup, passwords or API keys: every item on your website has its own link, and Facebook, Messenger, Viber and Telegram show that link as a card with the photo, name and price. Customers tap it and order on your website. Orders come to Online orders in the app.

You need your free website first: Settings → Online store. See Set up your store.

Each share opens a panel with the link, a QR code, Copy link, Share and buttons for Facebook, Messenger, Viber, Telegram and WhatsApp.

When to use: whenever a customer asks "how much is this?" in a chat, or you post about an item.

  1. Open Items. On the item's row tap ⋮, then Share link. You can also open the item and tap Share link.
  2. Tap Copy link and paste it into the chat, or tap an app button. The app opens with the link ready to send.
  3. To show a QR code to a customer in the shop, let them scan the code in the panel.

To share a whole category, open Settings → Online store → Sell on Facebook → Share a category and pick it. The link opens your website showing only that category.

To send a customer a ready cart, add the items on the Sell screen, tap ⋮ at the top of the cart, then Share cart. The link opens your website with those items already in their cart. They check out there; prices are the website prices.

The share panel writes a post for you: the item name, the price (with the old price when it is on sale), a short description, "Order here" with the link, and hashtags.

When to use: when you post a new item or a promotion on your shop's Facebook page.

  1. Open the item's share panel (Items → ⋮ → Share link).
  2. Under Post to Facebook, pick English or မြန်မာ.
  3. Change the words if you like.
  4. Tap Copy caption.
  5. Tap Open Facebook. Facebook opens a new post with the link. Paste the caption and post.

#Buy now on your website

Every item page on your website has Buy now under Add to cart. It puts the chosen quantity in the cart and goes straight to checkout, so customers who come from a Facebook post order in fewer taps. If the item is already in their cart, Buy now just opens checkout.

When to use: nothing to set up. It shows while your store is taking orders.

#Facebook catalog feed

A catalog feed keeps a Facebook and Instagram shop (Meta Commerce Manager) in step with your items. Meta reads one link on a schedule and updates names, photos, prices and stock by itself. No passwords or keys are shared: the link is public and has only what your website already shows.

When to use: if you want a Facebook / Instagram shop, or want to tag your items in posts.

  1. Open Settings → Online store → Sell on Facebook.
  2. Under Facebook catalog feed, tap Copy next to the link (it ends in /feeds/meta.csv).
  3. On a computer, open business.facebook.com and go to Commerce Manager. Pick your catalog, or create one for E-commerce.
  4. Go to Catalog → Data sources → Add items → Data feed.
  5. Choose Scheduled feed and paste the link.
  6. Choose Hourly or Daily, currency MMK, and save.

Items with options (size, colour) appear as one product with its options. Items on sale show both prices. Sold-out items show as out of stock.

#Chat buttons on your website

Your website can show a Chat with us button, and every item page gets Ask about this item. Customers pick Messenger, Viber, Telegram, WhatsApp or a phone call. "Ask about this item" fills in a message with the item name and link.

When to use: so customers can ask before they order, in the app they already use.

  1. Open Settings → Online store → Chat buttons.
  2. Type your Facebook page for Messenger (you can paste the page link), your Viber number, your Telegram username and, if your customers use it, a WhatsApp number.
  3. Tap Save changes.
