Exports for your accountant

Download sales, payments, tax, refunds, expenses, credit, payables, stock value and a daily summary as CSV or Excel files, or everything at once in the Accountant pack.

On this page

Export turns your Reports into files for Excel, Google Sheets or your accountant: every sale, every refund, money in by payment method, tax, discounts, expenses, what customers owe, what you owe suppliers, the value of your stock and one line per day. The numbers are the same as Reports for the same period and shop.

Exports are for owners and managers.

#Make an export

When to use: at the end of a month, or whenever your accountant asks for the numbers.

  1. Open Reports.
  2. Tap Export at the top. On phones it is the download icon.
  3. Under Period, keep Same as Reports or choose This month, Last month, This year, Last year or Custom dates…. The exact dates show under it.
  4. If you have more than one shop, choose the Shop or All shops.
  5. Tick what you need under What to export. Each line says what is in the file.
  6. Tap Export. A bar shows how many records were read. Tap Cancel to stop.
  7. When it is ready you see the file name and size. On the web the file is in your browser's Downloads. On Windows, Android and iPhone tap Open or Share (email, Viber, Telegram, Drive…).

#CSV or Excel

  • CSV: one simple table per file. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets and most accounting apps. Myanmar names show correctly in Excel.
  • Excel: one .xlsx file. Each export is its own sheet, with dates as real dates and the top row fixed.

If you tick more than one export with CSV, you get one .zip file with a CSV for each, plus README.txt.

Column names are in English, because most accountants want that. Turn on Column names in Myanmar if you prefer. Names of items and customers always stay as you typed them.

#Accountant pack

The Accountant pack is one .zip file with everything:

  • every export as a CSV file,
  • one Excel file with a sheet for each export,
  • README.txt that explains every file and column, and the period's totals (sales, tax, refunds, money collected, expenses).
  1. Open Reports → Export.
  2. Choose the period and shop.
  3. Tap Accountant pack.
