Marketing (bring customers back)

Find customers who stopped coming, birthdays and your best customers, and send each one a message with their own coupon by Viber, Telegram, SMS or email — no paid SMS needed.

On this page

Marketing helps you bring customers back. LiteShop finds the right customers from your sales — who hasn't visited in 60 days, whose birthday is this week, your top 50 — and writes each one a personal message with their name, your shop, their points and, if you like, their own coupon. You send it from your phone with one tap per customer, or LiteShop emails the customers who have an email.

Open it from Customers → Marketing (owners and managers).

#Pick who to message

On the Audiences tab, tap a list to see how many customers are in it and who they are:

AudienceWho
Haven't visited latelyNo visit in 30, 60 or 90 days (the most recent first: they are the easiest to bring back)
BirthdaysBirthday today, this week or this month (from the birthday on the customer)
Top customersYour best 20, 50 or 100, by visits or by spend
New customers this monthTheir first purchase was this month: welcome them
Membership tierEveryone in one tier, for example Gold
Has points to useCustomers with loyalty points
Owes you moneyCustomers with a balance in the credit book (only with the Credit book on)
All customersEveryone

Customers who said no to marketing are always left out. One campaign reaches up to 500 customers.

#Write the message

Tap Write message. Pick a template — Birthday, We miss you, New arrivals, Points reminder — or Write my own, in Myanmar or English. Tap the chips to add parts that change for each customer:

  • Name {name}, Shop {shop}, Points {points}
  • Coupon {coupon} and Valid until {expiry} (with a coupon)
  • Their page {link}: the customer's own page with their points (when the customer page is on), else your online store

The Preview shows the message as a customer will get it.

#A coupon for each customer

Switch on Add a coupon for each customer and choose % off or an amount off (MMK off), the value and how many days it works. Every customer gets their own code (for example K7QM2X), for one use, until the end of the last day. They are normal coupons: the cashier types the code at checkout, and it works offline too. Each code is personal: pick the customer on the sale first. On another customer's sale (or a sale with no customer) the register says "This coupon was sent to one customer. Pick that customer, or remove the coupon."

If the message has no {coupon}, LiteShop adds a line like "A gift for you: show code K7QM2X at the counter, valid until 24 Oct 2026."

Campaign coupons don't show in Settings → Coupons one by one. They are removed 30 days after they expire.

#Send one by one

After Create campaign, the Send list shows every customer with their message ready:

  1. Tap Viber, Telegram or SMS (when the customer has a phone number). The app opens with the message filled in.
  2. Pick the customer's chat and send.
  3. The customer is ticked Sent. Tap the box to untick.

Copy copies the message to paste anywhere (Messenger, WhatsApp, Facebook). You can come back to the list any time from the Campaigns tab.

#Email

With Also email customers who have an email on, LiteShop emails every customer who has an email address (from the customer display "Ask customer" or the customer screen):

  • Emails go out over the next hours (a shop sends at most 200 an hour).
  • Every email has an Unsubscribe link. A customer who taps it gets no more marketing — from email or from your lists.
  • Addresses that bounced or marked your email as spam get nothing.
  • Email needs a plan with email delivery.

#Results

The Campaigns tab shows each campaign with its results, for example "12 came back · 230,000 Ks sales · 5 coupons used":

  • Came back: customers of the campaign who bought again after it.
  • Sales: what they spent since the campaign.
  • Coupons used: campaign coupons used at checkout.

Tap Results to update. Results count the first 30 days after the campaign, then they stay as they are. Stop turns off unused coupons and drops emails not sent yet.

#Automations

On the Automations tab:

  • Birthday wishes (daily): every morning, an alert "3 birthdays today — send wishes" opens the list.
  • We miss you (weekly): on the day you choose, a list of customers who just passed 30, 60 or 90 days without a visit (so nobody gets it twice).

Nothing is sent by itself — except email, only when you switch on Email them automatically. You can add a 10% coupon (7 days) and choose the message language. The alerts show on the Alerts page and as push / Telegram alerts to owners and managers.

#New arrivals

Tap New arrivals, pick up to 8 items that are on your website, then:

  • Message customers: the New arrivals message with each item's link, price and name (the same links as Facebook selling).
  • Post on Facebook: the caption is copied and Facebook's share window opens — paste it and post.

#Customers who say no

  • On a customer, switch on No marketing to leave them out of every list, campaign and email.
  • A customer who used Unsubscribe in an email shows "Unsubscribed from marketing". Only an owner or manager can bring them back, when the customer asks.
  • Messages show the customer's name and their own code only. LiteShop never shares your customers' numbers or emails.

#Plans

  • Plus and up: audiences, campaigns, coupons, the send list, results, automations and new arrivals.
  • Email to customers needs email delivery on your plan.
  • Switch the whole tool off in Settings → Features → Marketing.
